Other Projects:
We use the Paia
9505 Theremin, which we built from a kit. It sounds just as good, and probably
better than the Big Briar Etherwave. Another advantage is that all the mods
for the Etherwave are standard on the Paia! Tomás wrote an article
for Sound On Sound about the Paia, but it was never published.
One of our earliest
projects was writing music for Brian Friel's excellent play "Translations".
This was staged at the Cork Arts Theatre in 1995, directed by Mary D. Healy.
The
Charms:
The Charms was a pop band formed by Mags, Ken, Tomás and Michael, with
a selection of drummers. We were naive in that we thought we
were the next best thing, but we were dedicated. We even have live recordings
to prove it!
